§ 1163.16. Church and school electric service.

  • Available to churches, public and parochial schools (through High Schools) and county, township, municipal and civic recreation centers operated for the public welfare.

    For churches, separately metered, whose Maximum Load Requirements are during off-peak hours the Maximum Demand for billing purposes shall be one-half (½) of the actual demand during the billing period.

    The minimum charge to customers receiving service under contracts that incorporate provisions other than those specifically set forth in the Municipal Electric Service Rate Schedules, shall not be less than that set forth in such contracts.

    Customers requiring facilities for loads of infrequent or seasonal use may be required to pay for such facilities.
