§ 1399.01. Violation and penalties.

  • Unless otherwise provided in the Ohio Revised Code, whoever violates any section of this Refuse Collection Code may be deemed guilty of a first degree misdemeanor and fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1000.00) , imprisoned for not more than one hundred eighty (180) days and shall be responsible for court costs. Strict liability is intended to be imposed for violation of this code. This penalty is in addition to and separate from any civil or administrative penalties or remedies provided for by this code or pursuant to Ohio law.
