§ 103.27. Twenty-Sixth Ward.

The boundaries of the Twenty-Sixth Ward are hereby established to include the following territory: Beginning at the intersection of the Penn Central Railroad right of way and Gahanna-Southern Road, north on the centerline of Gahanna-Southern Road to a point near the intersection of Gahanna-Southern Road and Big Walnut Creek on the Columbus-Gahanna corporation line, then following said corporation line along an irregular path, north along Hamilton Road to a point north of Thruway Drive, thence west along the I-270 west right of way to a point where the Columbus-Gahanna corporation line meets the Mifflin Township boundary line, thence following the Columbus corporation and Mifflin Township boundary line south to a point being on an air line extension of Oakland Avenue, west on said air line and Oakland Avenue centerline to Willa Drive, north along Willa Drive to a point being on an air line extension of Rumer Avenue, thence west along said air line and north to Johnston Road, then following said corporation boundary line southwest along Johnston Road to a point near 2827 Johnston Road, then leaving Johnston Road south and east to Stelzer Road, north on the centerline of Stelzer Road to Johnston Road, continuing southwest along Johnston Road to a point near 2777 Johnston Road, again leaving Johnston Road south, west and south to Robbins Road, west along Robbins to a point where Robbins Road turns north, then south, east, south to Seventeenth Avenue, west along Seventeenth Avenue returning again to Johnston Road, southwest along Johnston Road to New U.S. Route 62, northeast along New U.S. Route 62 to Cassady Avenue, north on the centerline of Cassady Avenue to a point near 1965 Cassady Avenue where the corporation-boundary line turns west, west to Alum Creek (stream), south on the centerline of Alum Creek to the Penn Central Railroad right of way (also the Columbus-Bexley corporation line), east along said right of way to Hemlock Avenue, south along Hemlock Avenue to Bellwood Avenue, east along Bellwood Avenue to a point west of East Street where the corporation line turns south, south on said corporation line crossing Columbus Avenue and Ruhl Avenue to a point north of Maryland Avenue where the corporation line turns east, then east to Gould Road, south on the centerline of Gould Road to Maryland Avenue, east on the centerline of Maryland Avenue (now also the boundary line of the Twenty-Seventh Ward) to Chesterfield Road, north on the centerline of Chesterfield Road to Ruhl Avenue, east on the centerline of Ruhl Avenue to Stelzer Road, north on the centerline of Stelzer Road to the Columbus-Whitehall corporation line, then following said corporation line northeast to the Penn Central Railroad right of way, continuing northeast along said right of way of the place of beginning.
