§ 2139.011. Director of public service and/or their designee's consent required.

  • Pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code § 4513.34, all public service agencies, companies or corporations, persons and individuals, wishing to transport oversize/overweight equipment over streets within the corporation limits of the city, prior to doing so, shall obtain consent from the director of public service and/or their designee. The director of public service shall promulgate reasonable rules and regulations to carry out the provisions for issuing of such permits. All such requests shall be submitted to, reviewed and approved by, along with the appropriate fees paid to the department of public service, before it shall become effective. All such fees shall be deposited by the department of public service with the city treasurer to the credit of the street construction maintenance and repair fund. A record of such written consent shall be kept in the department of public service offices.
