§ 2151.20. Limitations on truck, bus and trailer parking.

  • (a)

    No owner or driver of a truck, bus, tractor, trailer, semitrailer or house vehicle shall park or stand such vehicle on any street for a period longer than one (1) hour. However, this section shall not apply to trucks or trailers used for conveying the necessary tools and materials to premises where labor, using such tools and materials, is to be performed during the actual time of parking such trucks or trailers, nor to motor trucks or buses conveying passengers to any public meeting, assembly, church, convention or entertainment during the actual session of any such public meeting, assembly, church, convention or entertainment, nor to the actual time during which a motor truck, motor truck tractor, trailer or semitrailer is being loaded or unloaded or used to deliver or hoist property or merchandise for completion of delivery.

    (b)

    A violation of this section constitutes the commission of a parking infraction to be handled pursuant to and governed by the provisions of Chapter 2150.
