§ 2309.29. Bona fide evidence of majority and identity.

  • (A)

    For the purposes of Section 2309.28, no person, firm or corporation may be found guilty of a violation of said subsection in which age is an element of the offense if "bona fide majority and identity" is obtained.

    (B)

    For the purposes of subsection (A) hereof, "bona fide evidence of majority and identity" is any document evidencing age and identity of an individual issued by a federal, state or local governmental entity, including, but not limited to, a motor vehicle operator's license, a registration certificate issued under the federal Selective Service Act, or an identification card issued to a member of the armed services.
