§ 2313.55. Misuse of appearance bond deposit card.

  • (A)

    No person, unless a city of Columbus employee at the time and eligible for such benefit, shall possess, use, attempt to use, or present for use an identification and appearance bond deposit card.

    (B)

    No person shall transfer, give or sell an identification and appearance bond deposit card to another person.

    (C)

    As used in this section, "identification and appearance bond deposit card" is defined as that identification card issued to non-uniformed, full-time city of Columbus employees to post bond as a benefit of prepaid legal services.

    (D)

    Strict liability is intended to be imposed for a violation of this section.

    (E)

    Whoever violates this section is guilty of misuse of an appearance bond deposit card, a misdemeanor of the third degree.
