§ 2325.63. Minimum age for purchases.

  • (A)

    Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, no person under the age of twenty-one years shall purchase beer or intoxicating liquor.

    (B)

    Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor under the age of twenty-one purchasing beer or intoxicating liquor, shall be fined not less than twenty-five nor more than one hundred dollars. The court imposing a fine for a violation of this section may order that the fine be paid by the performance of public work at a reasonable hourly rate established by the court. The court shall designate the time within which the public work shall be completed.
