§ 2519.07. License required.

  • (A)

    No person shall service a fire extinguisher unless he shall first have complied with Section 3737.65(b) Ohio Revised Code, except as otherwise provided in this section.

    (B)

    Any individual, partnership, association, corporation or other entity recognized by law as being the subject of rights and duties may service their own fire extinguishing equipment without a license, provided a full time employee of said individual, partnership, association, corporation, etc., is designated to be responsible for compliance with the provisions of this chapter applicable to the servicing of their fire extinguishing equipment. The designation of said employee referred to shall be by letter to the chief of the Columbus Fire Prevention Bureau and shall contain the employee's name, address and any title or position he may have with said concern.
