§ 2533.06. Site approval.

  • (A)

    No permit shall be granted for any exhibition of fireworks without first obtaining site approval from the fire official. The following factors shall be considered in evaluating the proposed site:

    (1)

    The type of fireworks display involved, the launch site, and the direction of firing. A diagram of the grounds on which the exhibition is to be held showing the point at which the fireworks are to be discharged, the location of all buildings, highways, airports, and other means of travel, the lines behind which the audience will be restrained, and the location of all nearby trees, telegraph or telephone lines or other overhead obstruction.

    (2)

    The spectator area, firing areas, and range area.

    (3)

    The precautions being taken to prevent fires or injuries.

    (4)

    The fireworks storage area.
