§ 3111.01. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to designate each area of the city which shall be represented by an advisory area commission pursuant to Chapter 3109; to bound and describe each such commission area; to establish an area commission to perform appropriate functions and duties set out in C.C. 3109.14 for that area; to document the ratification of each area commission and commission area presently in existence; to approve petitions and to document the establishment of new commission areas and area commissions from time to time; and to approve the by-laws, rules and selection procedures on file with the city clerk for each area commission as indicated.
