  • Textiles, fibers and bedding more objectionable uses permitted in M-1 Manufacturing Districts, subject to the provisions of the Zoning Code are:

    Manufacture, compounding, processing, packaging or treatment of the following materials or similar products:

    Bedding (mattress, pillow and quilt)

    Bleaching

    Carpets, rags and mats

    Cordage and rope

    Cotton ginning

    Cotton wadding and linter

    Hats

    Hair and felt products washing, wiring, dyeing

    Knitted and woven goods

    Jute, hemp and sisal products

    Linoleum and other hard-surface floor covering (except wood)

    Nylon

    Oilcloth, oil-treated products and artificial leather

    Rayon

    Shoddy

    Wool pulling or scouring.
