§ 333.06. Treasurer's investment earnings account.

  • Disbursements from said treasury investment earnings fund shall be made only as and when authorized and directed by city council, and may be for the following purposes:

    (a)

    For capital construction improvements;

    (b)

    For the purchase of new equipment;

    (c)

    For the operation and maintenance of newly constructed or acquired capital improvements;

    (d)

    For general operating expenses, if needed.

    The city council may authorize transfers from the treasury investment earnings fund, at any time, to any other improvements or operating fund for any one of the purposes above stated, if, in its sound discretion, such expenditures are thought necessary for the preservation of health, safety and welfare of the city.
