§ 4113.15. Fees—Reinspection.

  • In the event that work covered by any permit or inspection required by the Building Code is not installed or completed, or both, in accordance with the code, thereby requiring additional reinspections, the chief building official shall assess a fee as prescribed in the fee schedule. For each reinspection in excess of the usual and customary inspections, the chief building official shall assess a fee, as determined by rules adopted in accordance with C.C. 121.05. This reinspection fee shall be charged for each reinspection required to achieve code compliance.

    The chief building official, for good cause shown and using such rules as at that time have been adopted by the department, may waive the requirement for a reinspection fee.
