§ 4115.08. Fireplace inspections.

(a)

Prefabricated fireplaces shall have a rough inspection after installation of the fireplace, flue, and prior to concealing with any wall materials. Final inspection shall be after completed installation.

(b)

Masonry fireplaces shall have a foundation inspection and a rough inspection after construction of the firebox and smoke shelf prior to installation of the damper but prior to concealing with any wall materials. Final inspection shall be after completed construction.
