§ 4123.03. Prohibited activities.

  • No person shall place or store any material or equipment necessary for work under a building permit on a street, alley or public sidewalk, unless permitted by the director, nor shall any work be performed except in accordance with the provisions of this building code. A temporary permit to so use public property shall be obtained prior to any such use.

    No person shall perform any work on any building or structure endangering pedestrians on the street that abuts the property line, unless the pedestrians are protected as specified in this code.

    No advertising shall be placed on any fence, sidewalk or canopy erected under the provisions of this section, except the name of the building, the owner, architects, engineers and contractors.
