§ 4123.27. Projections into streets, alleys, or other public right-of-way.

No part of any structure or any appendage thereof, shall project into any streets,
alleys, or other public rights-of-way without first having obtained the formal approval
of the City of Columbus. Applications to place private improvements in, under, over,
or upon the public right-of-way shall be made in writing to the director of public
service and/or their designee. Any such applications for the installation of permanent
private improvements within the public right-of-way shall be made in advance of their
proposed construction date allowing for review time. Formal city council approval
may be required.
