§ 4191.14. Ceiling criteria.

(A)

Gypsum board or plaster ceilings at least one-half inch thick shall be provided where required by the OBC. Ceilings shall be substantially airtight, with minimum number of penetrations.

(B)

Glass fiber, foam or mineral wool insulation at least six inches thick shall be provided above the ceiling between joists.
