§ 4521.03. Sharing a bathroom.

In lieu of compliance with Section 4521.02, at least one (1) flush closet, lavatory basin, and bathtub or shower, properly connected to a public water and sewer system or to a water and sewer system approved by the health commissioner and in good working condition shall be supplied for each ten (10) persons or any smaller number of persons living in dwelling units which share a bathroom. The bathroom facilities shall be located on the same floor as or the floor immediately above or below that of the dwelling unit or units served by said bathroom. Access to the bathroom facilities shall be provided to each dwelling unit without passing through any other dwelling unit.

Unless the dwelling units sharing a bathroom were in existence prior to October 21, 1968, such dwelling units must meet the bathroom requirements of Section 4521.02.
