§ 587.99. Penalties.

  • (a)

    Whoever violates Sections 587.02(a) and 587.11(a) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. Any such violation shall constitute a separate offense on each successive day continued.

    (b)

    Whoever violates Section 587.02(c) shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor.

    (c)

    No penalty shall be imposed for a violation of Sections 587.12(a), 587.12(b), 587.19 and 587.20.

    (d)

    A violation of any section of Chapter 587 shall be grounds for the suspension, revocation or permanent revocation of the vehicle for hire owner's license(s), or in the case of a new application shall be grounds to refuse to issue such license for a determinate period of time up to ninety (90) days or permanently.
