§ 703.01. Application of terms.

(A)

The definitions in this chapter shall apply in the interpretation and enforcement of this Health, Sanitation and Safety Code.

(B)

The interpretation of the definitions used in the enforcement of this code are the prerogatives of the property maintenance inspector and the property maintenance appeals board, which as a board rules on the intent of this code and the rules and regulations adopted in connection therewith.

(C)

Whenever the words "premises," "dwelling," "dwelling unit," "building," "rooming house," "rooming unit," or "premises," are used in this Health, Sanitation and Safety Code, they shall be construed as though they were followed by the words "or any part thereof."
