§ 1145.81. Stormwater regulations.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of the Columbus City Codes, the director may promulgate regulations governing the quantity and quality of stormwater discharges from premises within the City of Columbus and where applicable, from premises outside of the City of Columbus which are tributary to the city sewer system. Any regulation which is promulgated pursuant to this section shall be as stringent as any applicable federal or state statute or regulation. In addition to the requirements of Columbus City Codes Sections 121.05 and 1145.11, the director shall provide notice in the City Bulletin of any proposed nonemergency regulation at least thirty (30) days prior to publication of the final regulation in the City Bulletin. The notice shall indicate the subject matter of the proposed regulation, where copies of the proposed regulation can be reviewed or obtained, where written comments concerning the proposed regulations can be submitted to the director, and the last day upon which written comments will be received concerning the proposed regulation.
